Remember! Remember! The Third Day of November

Read Time:3 Minute, 49 Second

by Mark Bear

While I cannot confirm what I am about to say with a source, I am going out on a limb here to tell each of you that there is going to be trouble in November. With Trump complaining about the mail-in ballots, coupled with his trial run at placing federal agents in Portland to deal with the protests taking place there, we now have all the makings of a man who may do one of several things:

(1) He may try to declare victory early, that is prior to the state being called due to their not counting all of the ballots that have been mailed in. Look for Trump – in this scenario – to claim victory on Election night – despite the state still counting votes – and his subsequently pressuring electors from those republican held states to certify the election results as quickly as possible. Think Katherine Harris, the past Secretary of State from Florida certifying votes in the 2000 Bush v Gore debacle.

(2) He may try to litigate each and every aspect of the mail-in ballots, taking the matter to the Supreme Court. While I honestly do NOT believe the Supreme Court will get involved, I do believe this sets up something quite similar to what has taken place during COVID19; Republican-led states versus Democratic-held states. Expect Trump in this scenario to perpetually bring a laundry list of complaints and further litigation to the Bench.

(3) Also, be prepared for an October surprise related to the Ukraine activity that Trump engaged in when he offered approved monies by Congress to Ukraine premised on their “getting dirt on Joe Biden.” Congressman Nunes during a hearing this past week was asked whether he would like to “share the confidential report that he has in his possession” only for Nunes to answer, “no.” However, do remember: Nunes has been in Trump’s pocket through Russia and the Ukraine scandal, meaning he will do “whatever it is Trump demands.” And, well we know to take what these idiots say about Biden precisely for what they are: A distraction! And A LIE! Do not fall for it again in 2020. Just consider it noise.

(4) The most disconcerting thing to consider: Think about this election folks. It is probably the most divisive one – even more divisive than 2016 – and Trump will capitalize on this issue. This will place those states which created pacts with one another to deal with the COVID19 crisis to work together whilst Republican-led states will do the same. I need not tell you where this could lead.

In the end, there is good news you each may extract from my hypothesis. First, Trump is doing everything he can to stop mail-in voting. He has, in fact, succeeded in getting his Postmaster choice on the US Postal service who in turn has investments in the millions to other carriers. Furthermore, the Postmaster has instructed employees – under the auspices of streamlining operations to become more efficient – to leave undelivered mail at distribution centers. This is the first time EVER that this was the USPS policy as it has always been to deliver whatever is in the distribution center on any particular day; on THAT day, despite making carriers having to go back out to their routes.

Second, Trump’s persistent focus on what the country will turn into which is precisely what it is today – under his leadership – an apocalyptic event is his merely projecting. Finally, please do not go out of your way to tell me that “he can’t do that because experts are saying he can’t,” because reality is, he has done EVERYTHING experts have said he could not do and has gotten away with said action successfully.

BUT: For him to focus on turnout tells you one thing: His internal polling numbers are much worse than the public polling data says. This is NO TIME to let our collective feet off the gas pedal folks. Consider Trump a rat. You don’t just lay poison down one time and walk away, now do you? No, you keep laying that trap that is, until you KNOW with 100 percent certainty that the problem has been dealt with. Let us each march forward with this duly noted in our hearts.

Except Republicans.

To protect Republicans from the inconvenience of long lines at polls inhabited by the great unwashed, Democrats, Independents, Green Party etc., Polls will be open for registered Republicans ONLY on November 4 from noon to 10 PM.

Vote tRump on November 4, 2020!

November can’t get here fast enough. It’s a curious phenomenon, like time, for me, usually flies, and the older I get the faster it flies, except when it comes to national elections. The clock seems to tick at a snail’s pace.
