Crowd Boos, Jeers Trump At RBG Casket

Trump was loudly jeered and subjected to chants of “Honor her wish!” and “Vote him out!” during his Thursday morning visit to pay respects to Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s casket at the Supreme Court.
The large crowd was clearly incensed by Trump’s determination to overlook the late justice’s dying wish to not be replaced before Election Day.
Trump stood silently beside the casket with first lady Melania Trump as the crowd voiced their disapproval. Unusually, he was wearing a face mask—a safety measure he’s repeatedly ridiculed throughout the pandemic.

It is a shame that tRump felt it necessary to desecrate Justice Ginsburg’s memorial by turning it into one more phony press appearance. He should have stayed away like he did with John McCain.
That the crowd reacted as it did in disruption the mourning in one way despicably disrespectful, but in another…. strangely so appropriate to protest the desecration. It would have been better if the chant was “We dissent!”
I hope tRump got the message, I fear it will only quicken his resolve.
