Does Your Dog Have ‘Bacon’ Eyes?
You know about ‘Bacon eyes.’ While not exactly the same thing as Bette Davis eyes it accomplishes the same purpose in that the viewer will find them unforgettable. Ever seen a dog when you have bacon? Their eyes grow wide, and you can see every little tiny vein and all the color in the iris.
They are begging for that holy grail of all human food, bacon; but only when it has been fried and the house is redolent with the unmistakable odor of porcine parts.
Now it’s not just bacon that causes that adoring, pleading look, like other things, such as ‘go for a walk,’ go for a ride,’ ‘dinner,’ and other exciting utterances–BALL! You know what I mean, and now you know what to call it when your dog looks at you with that ‘bacon’ adoration.
ED: Yes, it’s true that bacon has a significant amount of fat and grease. As such, giving bacon to your dog — especially in large quantities — can lead to an upset stomach. Bacon grease can also clog your pup’s arteries. We know it’s hard to say no to your dog when they so clearly want a taste of bacon.

Haha! Ginny, at 8 months, is still working on boundaries. If I have something at smells really good to her, she has been known to jump up with front paws and advance on my food until I admonish her. Then she does that uniquely Mal thing of turning her head and not making eye contact. Like she is so not paying any attention to me or my food! 😂
