Bad Jesus: Religious Nuts Cover-Up Proof of UFO’s
Religious and secular thinkers have long considered the ramifications for faith if humans were to discover intelligent life on other planets. In the United States, highly spiritual and Evangelical individuals tend to be more skeptical about the existence of extraterrestrial life compared to those who are less religious.
A more significant proportion of religiously unaffiliated people (80%) believe that intelligent life exists on other planets, while fewer Evangelicals (57%) accept this possibility. Moreover, those who are deeply committed to their faith and attend church at least weekly are less likely to believe in the existence of intelligent life elsewhere than those who seldom or never attend church (44% vs. 75%).
This creates a challenging situation for extraterrestrial beings who wish to maintain their privacy. Earthlings have long been influenced by the followers of a figure known as Bad Jesus, the polar opposite of Good Jesus and distinct from the concept of the anti-Christ. Individuals investigating and studying Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) have intentionally obscured inquiries and concealed potential evidence of alien life.
The motivation for these actions is rooted in the teachings of Bad Jesus. The discovery of alien life would threaten the credibility of long-held religious beliefs, so adherents to these teachings are determined to counter any scientific evidence that contradicts their faith. This includes denying widely accepted scientific concepts like evolution, as it challenges religious narratives such as the young Earth theory and humanity being created in God’s image.
In contrast, Good Jesus promotes love and acceptance for all beings and does not endorse dishonesty or manipulation of the truth. Bad Jesus, however, encourages reality distortion to conform to the biblical narrative. Consequently, those who follow Bad Jesus continue to shape our understanding of the world in a way that supports their religious convictions, even at the expense of hiding the truth about extraterrestrial life.
As history has demonstrated, the manipulation of truth to perpetuate myths has been prevalent for as long as humanity can remember. Regrettably, the situation in the United States is not improving; instead, it appears to be deteriorating. The current Supreme Court is a prime example, with five out of nine justices identifying as deeply religious. Furthermore, recent state-level legislation has curtailed human rights in the name of old religious beliefs advocated by followers of Bad Jesus. Society must recognize the dangers of this trend and work together to ensure dogmatic beliefs do not obscure the truth.

“Bullshitum.” Yes
If there is some segment of intelligent life that can be or wants to be detected from interstellae distances, perhaps it’s a situation like a Zen Koan where an unseen tree falls in a distant forest. That we can’t tell whether it happened makes us think of Dr. Schroedinger and his box of maybe dead cats. Frankly whether we’re alone in the universe is moot because communication is all but impossible and travel takes even longer. But how devastating for our gods and myths about 6000 year old universes! In principio erat verbum et Verbum erat Bullshitum.
