Bad Jesus: The Ethical Shenanigans of Clarence and Virginia ‘Ginny’ Thomas
Clarence and Ginny Thomas were quite the pair, with their unapologetic loyalty to Bad Jesus and tendency to skirt ethical boundaries. Their devotion to conservative values and disdain for anything liberal was surpassed only by their love for each other and willingness to do whatever it took to advance their agenda.
Despite Clarence’s initial desire to become a Catholic priest, Bad Jesus had other plans, leading him to Yale Law School and the Supreme Court. Once there, Clarence found that he could do whatever he wanted, both on and off the bench, without oversight.
This led to questionable behavior, including his cozy relationship with a billionaire who showered him with expensive gifts and vacations. While flirting with rich people may not be illegal, failing to report those gifts certainly is.
Meanwhile, Ginny tried to subvert the democratic process by openly encouraging the insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2020. As she prayed to Bad Jesus for help keeping Donald Trump in the White House, she seemed to forget that her actions were tantamount to treason.
Despite their ethical shenanigans, Clarence and Ginny remained dedicated to their cause, secure in knowing that Bad Jesus was on their side. And as long as they had each other, they were willing to do whatever it took to advance their agenda, no matter who got hurt.
In the end, despite accusations of sexual harassment, ethical misconduct, and even treason, Clarence and Ginny Thomas remained devoted to their cause and each other. They had become the Bonnie and Clyde of the judiciary, always ready to push the boundaries and bend the rules in their quest for power and influence. And through it all, Clarence didn’t even have to talk during arguments to the court. But one thing was clear: with Bad Jesus on their side, there was nothing they couldn’t accomplish.
Those who are too slippery to be caught have traditionally been brought down by the IRS. Isn’t it time for a little audit? Lack of ethics is one thing but unreported income is another.
I’m hopeful this will happen.
