Well, I don’t know if he is a traitor since he is an Australian Citizen, I think, and has done nothing against the Aussies or Britain, However, he is in my opinion a criminal. Perhaps even a war criminal by definition since he has chosen to enter the realm of publishing materials regarding the intelligence of sovereign nations with, as he put it, “no regard for the consequences.” Ecuador may end up paying a heavy price for allowing him to hold up in their embassy. It may end up being a toss up as to who eventually gets him first, Sweden or the U.S. In addition to that if he thinks the Russians will not turn on him in a heart beat, he is so,so wrong. Just as Donald Trump will find out should he win this election, Russia plays hardball with everyone to get what it wants.
