Warren Needs To Be Reminded Trump, Not Bloomberg, Is the Enemy

Elizabeth Warren needs to concentrate on beating Donald Trump, not beating up Michael Bloomberg. The sometimes over-the-top liberal has obtained the services of a legal expert who has written a contract that Michael Bloomberg can sign to release former employees from nondisclosure agreements.
Warren, who passed the bar examination in 1976 and has taught law at several universities, unveiled the contract at a CNN town hall in Nevada Thursday. “I used to teach contract law,” she said. The senator pressed Bloomberg on the issue during Wednesday night’s debate.
“And I thought I would make this easy. I wrote up a release and covenant not to sue, and all that Mayor Bloomberg has to do is download it—I’ll text it—sign it, and then the women, or men, will be free to speak and tell their own stories.”
The would-be president also tweeted a copy of the document Thursday night, saying “Mike Bloomberg can easily release the women who have accused him of sexual harassment—and who voluntarily want to speak about their experiences—from their non-disclosure agreements,” the Hill reports.
During the debate, Bloomberg was booed after he said he wouldn’t release women from the NDAs. “None of them accuse me of doing anything other than maybe they didn’t like a joke I told,” the former New York City mayor said.
You should be attacking Donald Trump, Liz, not Michael Bloomberg.

If we knew how much money would buy Trump off, let’s just give it to him and appoint the White House janitor president. Better chance of getting an honest person in the job.
Bzzt wrongo
If you look at Mike Bloomberg through a certain lens you see a successful entrepreneur who took his management skills into public service and then started giving his wealth away to reduce gun violence and climate change. If, on the other hand, you look at Bloomberg through the Bernie lens you see a rapacious billionaire who amassed a gross amount of wealth, who became an authoritarian mayor and targeted young black men and then tried to buy his way to power. You are looking at this through the Bernie Lens. Not me, and not millions of others.
Her behavior tells me that she is insecure, and I don’t want someone who is insecure running the country. I may well be wrong and have been a time or two in my life, but I’m convinced Bloomberg is the best candidate to beat Trump and would make for the best president. Fact is, excepting 2016, I’ve called every election since Reagan, and, if the other debate-droids would aim their guns at Trump, not MB, he would win. We need to let him do it. As to a wealth tax, I fail to see what it would do to pull millions of Americans out of poverty or help them pay for medical care. I don’t get it.
Yes. Her win at all costs intensity is Trumpian. Accuse and accuse and accuse faster than they can explain or react. She knows Bloomberg would have to defend some number of accusations that may or may not have merit. She knows that all accusations have an effective regardless of reality. Gossip is always true enough. We know damned well than many of the accusations are spurious – ask Al Franken. Those accusations taken from a 30 year old book with no corroborating evidence are an example of “do whatever it takes” campaigning.
If she wants to convince me, I’d like her reason to believe wealth taxes are effective – just for starters. But it’s more than just her. I’m tired of hearing how the other guy is a bum. Tell me what you can do within the limits of presidential power and why you think it will work here when it hasn’t elsewhere. Stop talking about broad classes of people and broad principles. Lets have details rather than hiding details under a big rug.
