Harry Reid Slams James Comey As ‘Republican Operative’ Who ‘Threw The Election To Trump’

During an interview with Chris Hayes tonight, Harry Reid unloaded on FBI Director James Comey, pointing at him as the sole reason Hillary Clinton lost the election.
It’s hard to argue, given the razor-thin margin she lost by in four states, and the fact that late-breaking votes went Trump’s way right after the Comey letter hit the news.
“There is no question in my mind — she would have won this election without any problem,” Reid insisted, “If Comey had not been the Republican operative that he is.”
A visibly taken aback Chris Hayes asked him to elaborate.
“He came out against what the Attorney General had recommended, against what common sense dictates,” Reid continued.
“He is the reason she lost the election. So you want one reason? That’s it.”
Putting an exclamation point on that declaration, Reid continued, “Comey, he can be fat and happy in his office for seven more years after having thrown an election to Donald Trump. If he feels good about that, that’s nice.”
I wish Chris Hayes had asked him whether anyone was investigating his interference.
