Why the Police Must be Held Accountable
In the late 1960’s Arthur Neiderhoffer was a captain for the New York City Police Department. He was also a doctoral student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. His doctoral dissertation was based on the development of cynicism in police officers as they progressed through their careers because of the nature of the job itself.
