If only I could think he was a singularity and not a representative of American ignorance. He’s hardly a scholar or a historian and I doubt he knows how many of those people date Mosaic law to about 500 BC or how many much larger, more comprehensive written law codes are a thousand or more years older.

To be more correct Mike, that should be suspended AGAIN. He was suspended and ultimately removed from the bench in 2003 over a huge chunk of granite with the 10 commandments written on it placed in the rotunda of the Supreme Court building in Montgomery, Alabama. However, he ran again and the idiots in Alabama voted him back into the same position. Hopefully he will be removed once again. This is the epitome of hypocrisy that the bible bangers in Alabama approve of running the state. He flagrantly ignores the Constitution and the rulings of the higher courts and, in fact, the orders of the higher courts. He shows no regard for the rights of others of different faiths. When he was a circuit judge he started each court session by making everyone in the courtroom recite the Lord’s Prayer with him.
Bill let’s hope he is removed once and for all. A despicable man if I ever saw one.
