Who won the LSU – Alabama game?
In a tight game, LSU rose to the challenge and beat the Crimson Tide 9-6 with an overtime field goal.
No doubt our sports writer Joe Hagstrom will have a lot more to say about it later this week.

Rarely does a game live up to its hype but this one did. It wasn’t a pretty game unless you really like hard nosed football. As I mentioned in the post describing this game it was the immovable forces facing the unstoppable forces. In this case the immovable forces won out. Both teams struggled offensively against the two toughest defenses in the country. I am duly impressed by both of these teams and my hat is off to the LSU Tigers for their hard fought win.
Way to Geaux Tigers ! Just happened to be caling my son in Taiwan via Skype with the TV at my back (and to the side). Great game for #1 vs #2.
